HATTheatre is excited to welcome Aristotle Jones and his band to Richmond as part of his "Streets of Osage, Musical Storyteller Tour". Jones is a professional musician and storyteller who plays what he calls “Appalachian Soul” – a mix of soul, R&B, doo-wop, gospel, funk, and folk. It’s an eclectic blend that reflects his identity as a Black Appalachian and specifically, his roots in Osage. Aristotle Jones continues the legacy of making the soulful, high energy folk music found in juke joints along a network, known as the Chit'lin Circuit, that was made up of Black boom towns, venues and churches throughout the American South, and Appalachian Region in the 20th Century. A wonderful way to honor Black History Month, Don't miss this unforgettable event! Details on securing reservations HERE |
