                             with something for all to enjoy, depending on your child's personal interests. Spaces Limited!

June 2-5:  Theatre Connections ages 8 and up
July 7-10 :     Sci-Fi-, Fantasy & Horror ages 9 and up 
July 21-24 : Camp Broadway!  ages 9 and up

Our workshops are designed so your child has fun, while learning with a professional theatre,
but no auditions required!

You may pay in full at registration.
OR
Payment of 1/2 ($95) may be made at registration and second 1/2 due ($95) by June 1st,
(if registering after June 1st, 2nd payment must be made by first day of camp).

THEATRE CONNECTIONS:   June 2-5,  ages 8 and up
Like any recipe, it is always nice when you have a little bit of this and a little bit of that, so for this week, our recipe for fun involves some  of everything. During the week, we will connect onstage with backstage and each day will feature something different.  One will focus on painting set pieces and use of props. Want to know how stage makeup magic happens? One day will focus on makeup, hair, wigs (mustaches anyone?), including the use of fake blood and scars. Always wondered how special effects look and sound? One day will focus on special effect lighting and sound. And of course one day will be an onstage focus where we bring all the elements together. Whether you enjoy being onstage or crew,  this one is for  anyone who is artistic & creative in any way, jam packed with something for all to find their place to shine.
 

 SCI-FI, FANTASY, & HORROR:   July 7-10, ages 9 and up 
Back by popular demand! Can’t decide if you like Sci-fi, fantasy or horror better? Well we have all 3 in one week! YOU get to choose, or mix them all together. During this fun and exciting week, we will explore everything from Wizards and Witches, Aliens, and Superheroes to Zombies, Ghosts, and anything else that evokes characters out of this world. Whether you are a fan of Harry Potter (we will have fun making Butterbeer!), Percy Jackson, Star Wars, Doctor Who, suspenseful (or comedic!) Horror, the Marvel Universe movies, Gaming characters and Anime, OR just embrace the idea of worlds beyond what we already know, this is the one for you.  During the week we will explore all things fantastical. Time Travel? Maybe! Portals to other worlds? Why not! Haunted forests? Who knows! There is no limit to the imagination. Taking characters you may know and others you create, we will put together a show guaranteed to be exciting and full of action, with special effect sounds, lighting, costuming, and more.

CAMP BROADWAY!:  July 21-24,   ages 9 & up 
This one is always a huge hit!  N.Y comes to RVA!  With scripts and music from some of Broadway’s most popular shows, (musicals and plays).  Whether you like Wicked, Six: The Musical, Back to the Future, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, Footloose, Frozen, Aladdin, Phantom of the Opera, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Annie, Hairspray, Beauty & The Beast, The Lion King, Grease, The Music Man, Little Shop of Horrors,  Les Misérables, Cinderella, Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Mean Girls, or Legally Blonde, (just to name a few),  we have scenes and music from ALL of them and lots more! During this week we will put together a Broadway style revue (based on YOUR choices) complete with scripts, songs, choreography  and costuming and then be ready to perform the last day “On Broadway!” For those who like to sing and for those who don’t, We have something for everyone.  Every summer is different!!
