June 24-27:  Sci-Fi, Fantasy, & Horror  ages 9 and up  (FULL)
July 22-25 : Camp Broadway!  ages 9 and up  (FULL)

Our workshops are designed so your child has fun, while learning with a professional theatre,
but no auditions required!

You may pay in full at registration.

Payment of 1/2 ($95) may be made at registration and second 1/2 due ($95) by June 1st,
(if registering after June 1st, 2nd payment must be made by first day of camp).

Voice Acting Fun  June 10-13,  ages 8 and up
(cartoons, video games, commercials, animated movies, audio books & more!)  
Do you enjoy playing with your voice? Making funny sounds? Ever wondered what it would be like to be the voice of a character in an animated movie? Want to be the voice for a video game character (like Mario or Tails and Sonic),  or have your own podcast? From the classic Looney Tunes to the Minions, and the animated feature films Super Mario Brothers, Leo, Elemental, Frozen, Toy Story, Chicken Run, and the Lego movies (just to name a very few),  all of them feature actors  using their voices to help create the characters.  During this week we will play with character voices, learn to use a mic, use actual scripts from cartoons, commercials, video games and movies to learn how to create fun and exciting characters with just voices, along with special effect sounds.  At the end of the week, parents are invited in to “hear” a show like no other. Will they be able to figure out which one YOU are?
 
Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror:   June 24 - June 27, ages 9 and up  (FULL)
Back by popular demand! Can’t decide if you like Sci-fi, fantasy or horror better? Well we have all 3 in one week! YOU get to choose, or mix them all together. During this fun and exciting week, we will explore everything from Wizards and Witches, Aliens, and Superheroes to Zombies, Ghosts, and anything else that evokes characters out of this world. Whether you are a fan of Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Star Wars, Doctor Who, suspenseful Horror, the Marvel Universe movies, Gaming characters and Anime, OR just embrace the idea of worlds beyond what we already know, this is the one for you.  During the week we will explore all things fantastical. Time Travel? Maybe! Portals to other worlds? Why not! Haunted forests? Who knows! There is no limit to the imagination. Taking characters you may know and others you create, we will put together a show guaranteed to be exciting and full of action, with special effect sounds, lighting, costuming, and more.

Camp Broadway!  July 22-25,   ages 9 & up  (FULL)
This one is always a huge hit!  N.Y comes to RVA!  With scripts and music from some of Broadway’s most popular shows, (musicals and plays).  Whether you like Six: The Musical, Back to the Future, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, Footloose, Frozen, Aladdin, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Annie, Hairspray, Beauty & The Beast, The Lion King, Grease, The Music Man, Little Shop of Horrors,  Les Misérables, Cinderella, Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Mean Girls, or Legally Blonde, (just to name a few),  we have scenes and music from ALL of them and lots more! During this week we will put together a Broadway style revue (based on YOUR choices) complete with scripts, songs, choreography  and costuming and then be ready to perform the last day “On Broadway!” For those who like to sing and for those who don’t, We have something for everyone.  Every summer is different!!
